Partners
WEC works in partnership with hundreds of people and organizations to protect the environment. Some of these relationships are recent and others have been ongoing for decades. Below are a few of the partners of particular note at the present time:
- Environmental Priorities Coalition - The purpose of the Priorities coalition is to enhance the collective power to protect Washington’s environment. The primary focus of the coalition’s work is to reach agreement on annual legislative priorities and secure approval of these Priorities in Olympia. Each year, coalition members define strategic campaigns and the coalition as a whole chooses four – which become the Priorities. Coalition members then focus collective energy on joint lobbying, media outreach, and grassroots organizing. Washington Conservation Voters
WEC works closely with our Legislative Partner, Washington Conservation Voters, and together we have led the broader conservation community to develop four Priorities for a Healthy Washington each year for the state legislature.
