2008 Marks Big Progress on Environmental Priorities
In 2008 we have been successful with passing our priorities -- from advancing climate change legislation to passing a nationally recognized Local Farms - Healthy Kids law, WEC is helping lead the movement and get good things done.
Despite a short 60-day session and a chilly revenue forecast for the state, progress was made on all of the environmental community’s Priorities for a Healthy Washington.

- Local Solutions to Global Warming - PASSED.
- Evergreen Cities - PASSED.
- Local Farms – Healthy Kids - PASSED.
