WEC's 40th Anniversary Celebration:
So They Might Soar

Thanks to all who attended our 40th Anniversary Celebration. With your help, we met our fundraising goal - $140,000 net!

The evening began with cocktails and our best-ever silent auction. The bidding was fierce, but friendly, as people competed for weekends around Washington, spa services, and some incredible art.

During dinner, guests heard from State Lands Commissioner elect Peter Goldmark, and WEC's Joan Crooks and Rod Brown. Former Governor Dan Evans presented the Founder's Award to Joan Thomas and she invited all former board and staff on stage with her to celebrate. Guests finished the evening off with dancing to music by the  Paul Jensen Band.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, table captains, donors, and partners!
