See the current and past hot lists of bills
Each year the Washington State Legislature meets to debate new laws and pass budgets. 2008 was a so-called "short session" when they were in session for 60 days from mid-January to mid-March. The legislature is currently not in session.
Each Monday during session we help develop and distribute the
Environmental Community Hot List for the State House and Senate. 
The
"Hot List" contains up to 10 of the most important environmental bills
being debated that week. We send the Hot List to legislators, staffers
and members of the media. Because it has input from all the key
environmental groups that lobby the legislature and is because it is
short, this is a helpful and powerful tool for engaging legislators.
